Matti Malkamäki brings more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector, including two decades as a cleantech entrepreneur. He is a Founder and Chairman of Hycamite, a Finnish company pioneering methane splitting to produce clean hydrogen and high-quality carbon products including graphite.
Throughout his career, Matti has played a key role in driving industrial decarbonization and improving access to critical materials for the energy transition. His expertise spans technology development, strategic partnerships and policy engagement, helping industries move toward a low-carbon future.
Recognized as a thought leader in hydrogen innovation and supply chain resilience, Matti continues to shape scalable solutions that support sustainable growth across global markets.
Laura Rahikka, is a Founder & CEO of Hycamite TCD Technologies. She has an M.Sc. (tech) in process engineering and has more than 25 years of extensive experience in both industry and academia.
She is a talented industrial leader, renowned for her ability to build high-performing teams and lead with integrity and vision.
She combines strategic insight with a strong execution mindset, having successfully led an international clean technology startup through its growth into a scale-up.
In addition to her executive role, she serves on several positions of trust, board, and committee memberships.
As a Founder and Head of Carbon Business at Hycamite, Niina Grönqvist leads efforts to decarbonize industries such as chemical, steel, and oil through innovative technology, focusing on expanding the carbon product business globally.
With experience ranging from start-ups to NYSE giants, she has driven business growth and market penetration. She holds two Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, with research at ETH Zürich and the University of Oulu laying the groundwork for her expertise.
She is passionate about turning scientific breakthroughs into sustainable business models and leading Hycamite to success in the clean energy transition.
