Now we are looking for a Process Control Developer
We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Process Control Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CSF plant process control system and later supporting Hycamite’s commercial plants’ process control system blueprint design. You will work closely with the process- and production designing team to ensure smooth automation workflows that drive innovation and meet our company’s goals.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement process control solutions for processes optimal performance and scalability.
- Process optimization. Analyze the existing system, identify bottlenecks, and implement automation processes that improve process control.
- Testing and debugging. Plan and execute testing to ensure automated processes function correctly and meet operational requirements. Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the automation system.
- Collaboration. Work with cross-functional teams (Commercial plants projects, Process developers, Plant operations, IT, and quality assurance) to integrate automation solutions within existing workflows.
- Continuous improvement. Stay updated on emerging automation technologies, techniques, and best practices. Continuously assess and suggest improvements to existing systems.
Job requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in automation engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining process control systems.
- Proficiency in ABB800xA Control systems and related applications including configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Finnish, basic level communication in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of safety protocols in automation processes.
