The alliance received over 400 applications, proving the great interest of the European hydrogen community in its work.
The alliance aims to promote investments and stimulate clean hydrogen production and use. It is part of the EU’s efforts to ensure industrial leadership and accelerate the decarbonisation of industry in line with climate change objectives.
To accelerate clean hydrogen deployment across all parts of the value chain, the alliance’s work centres around roundtables, working groups, and the electrolyser partnership. The roundtables cover the entire hydrogen value chain, from production to end use and meet several times a year.
The roundtable on hydrogen production covers electrolysers, solar/wind/hydro, plant engineering, equipment, materials, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and pyrolysis.
The alliance was created in July 2020 and Hycamite has been a member of the alliance since that same year.
