“As large companies develop new hydrogen-related businesses, we saw that next, hydrogen issues come to the table of public actors. That is why we put together a national hydrogen network. With it, we will be able to increase everyone’s skills related to land use planning, the training of the necessary workforce and everything in between,” says Pasi Pitkänen, Raahe Region Development Director, who coordinates the two-year project.
Matti Malkamäki, CEO of Aurelia Turbines, acts as the chair of the steering group of Vetyverkosto. Finnish hydrogen companies are already organized in the hydrogen cluster. In the hydrogen cluster, Matti Malkamäki is a member of the steering group.
“I am honoured to be able to work as a bridge builder in both organisations,” says Malkamäki.
