Hycamite CEO Laura Rahikka discussed with other CEO’s of leading European hydrogen technology companies about hydrogen production in the latest meeting of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance (ECH2A) CEO Roundtable on Clean and Renewable Hydrogen Production.
“The need for clean hydrogen is huge all across Europe. The industry stresses strongly the need to meet this demand,” said Rahikka after the meeting this week.
“Several industry leaders are sharing with me the importance of technology neutrality when we choose how to achieve the goal. The main thing is to produce clean hydrogen energy efficiently without any or very low greenhouse gas emissions. This requires regulation that allows different technologies and the use of different raw materials,” Rahikka said.
“The competitiveness of the industry must also be maintained, along with the importance to evaluate the emissions of the whole life-cycle of the hydrogen.”
